Prof. O. A. Onifade had published over 80 articles in Local, National and International reputable journals. He had served and still serving as External Examiner to M.Ed. and Ph.D. programmes to University of Ibadan; Bayero University, Kano; Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; University of Port-Harcourt; University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Kogi State University, Anyingba, to mention a few. Also, he had served as adjunct and external examiner to many universities undergraduate programmes. External Examiner/Moderator, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Postgraduate School of Information Management, Ilorin. Examination Moderator for Undergraduate Programmes in the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Adeleke University. Member, National Board for Technical Education Curriculum (Sport Security and Safety) Pre-Critique Team for National Diploma (ND), Kaduna. Member, and chairman to many Ad-hoc Accreditation Panel to many Departments and Universities i.e. Port-Harcourt; Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State; Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State; Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State; Osun State University, Osogbo, Osun State; Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, Kano.
Prof. Onifade is a pious Christian and married with children.
