The philosophy of Jimoh Babalola University “is deeply rooted in the principles of clarity, capacity, and civility”. These three core values form the foundation upon which the university is built, guiding its mission and vision in the pursuit of academic excellence and societal impact.
History
The institution which will now be known as Jimoh Babalola University is a result of Mr. Jimoh’s tenacity and doggedness to enhance “Clarity” of purpose among Nigerian Youth, stretch and enlarge their “Capacity” and to train them to become civil members of the society (Civility) hence the slogan; Clarity, Capacity and Civility

Our Founder
Born in the early 80s, Mr. Babalola emerged into a world full of promise and potential. Growing up in a small town, he developed a strong work ethic and an innate curiosity about the world around him. From a young age, Mr. Babalola displayed a natural flair for business, his entrepreneurial spirit was evident. These early experiences planted the seeds for his future endeavors. In his early thirties, he ventured into import-export business, his determination and innovative ideas soon led to the expansion of his ventures thereby making positive impact.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Mr. Babalola excelled in academics. He saw education as a powerful tool for personal and societal growth. This commitment to learning would later influence his decision to establish a renowned college of health technology. Mr. Babalola embarked on a journey to create something that would leave a lasting impact on the community. Driven by a profound belief in the transformative power of education, and being motivated by a vision of providing quality education, he laid the foundation for what is now known as Babalola Academy college of health technology (BACHT) in the year 2020.
Against the odds, the college got approved by the National board for technical education (NBTE) in the year 2022, with operating license from state and federal government of Nigeria. Mr. Babalola’s college prioritized excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. His leadership and commitment to educational values transformed the institution into a beacon of academic achievement. As the college flourished, Mr. Babalola’s commitment to giving back to the community became increasingly evident. Scholarships, community outreach programs, and educational initiatives further solidified his legacy as more than just a businessman. The path to success was not without obstacles. Mr. Babalola faced financial challenges, bureaucratic hurdles, and the skepticism of those who doubted his ambitious goals.
Yet, his resilience and determination propelled him forward.
As his college prospered, Mr. Babalola saw the value of education in fostering community change. He wished to continue giving back while also equipping the new generation with the resources necessary for success. The thought of starting a university that would offer world-class education took root in his mind.
