The Management of Jimoh Babalola University, Ilorin, has announced the Call for Papers for the 4th Annual International Conference of the Consortium of Universities in Kwara (KU8+), scheduled to hold from August 5 to 8, 2026, at Summit University, Offa, Kwara State.

Researchers, academics, and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts for papers aligned with the conference theme: “Strengthening Higher Education for Inclusivity and Resilience: Bridging Research, Practice and Societal Impact.”

According to the announcement, Administrative and Non-Teaching Staff are also encouraged to participate in the conference. A Pre-Conference Workshop titled “AI-Driven Digital Transformation in University Registry and Administrative Services” has been scheduled for August 6, 2026, to enhance professional capacity in university administrative processes.

The timeline for submissions and registration is as follows:

Abstract Submission: March 10 – May 25, 2026
Notification of Abstract Acceptance: June 18, 2026
Early Bird Registration: April 1 – May 5, 2026
Full Paper Submission: June 18 – July 7, 2026

Interested participants are advised to submit abstracts via email to conference@summituniversity.edu.ng, while conference registration can be completed through the KU8+ website: https://ku8.org.ng.

The announcement was signed by the Admissions Officer, Jimoh Babalola University, Mrs O R Oyerinde. Prof. Muftau Ijaiya, Officer-in-Charge of the Vice Chancellor’s Office encouraged members of the academic community to take advantage of the conference to share knowledge and contribute to discussions on strengthening higher education for societal development.
