Delegates from Jimoh Babalola University, Ilorin, on Monday, November 3, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Kwara State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between the University and the State Government in the area of health and educational development.
The delegation was led by the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. M.A. Ijaiya, and included the Founder Alhaji Jimoh Babalola, as well as the Acting Registrar. The engagement focused on fostering strategic partnership initiatives aimed at advancing healthcare education, professional training, and public health outcomes within Kwara State.
Discussions during the meeting highlighted the importance of synergy between academic institutions and government health authorities in addressing emerging health challenges and improving service delivery. The visit was described as a proactive step toward building sustainable cooperation that will benefit students, healthcare professionals, and the wider community.
It was noted that strengthening institutional partnerships in the health sector remains critical to capacity building and long-term development, reaffirming the University’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to healthcare advancement and educational excellence in Kwara State.
